Dr. Irfana Ilyas
Dentist, DMD
Dr Ilyas DMD is originally from India where she obtained BDS ( Bachelors in Dental Surgery) degree from reputed institution. After working few years in India, Dr. Ilyas moved to USA.
While preparing for National Boards Dr. Ilyas volunteered, worked as Research Assistant in New York.
Dr.Ilyas received her DMD at the university of Illinois in Chicago, she enjoys working with patients of all ages and has roster of patients that includes three generations from single family, she likes to build long term relationships with patients.
Dr.Ilyas believes in lifelong learning and is committed to continuing education to provide her patients with state of the art technology, dental materials and procedures, she is active member of the Illinois State Dental society, Chicago Dental society, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
When she is not working Dr Ilyas likes to spend quality time with her husband, twin boys and parents. She likes to play badminton, enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.
Tammie R. Klotz
Senior Dental Assitant
Renee became a Certified Dental Assistant after graduating from the Elgin Community College Dental program.
Of her 40 years in the dentistry field, she has spent almost 30 of them right here in Somonauk.
Renee lives in Big Rock with her husband. They have 3 children, and their favorite hobby is spending time with their 7 grandchildren.
Teresa M. Weismiller
Office Manager
Terry has graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Business Management. She been working as the office manager from 18 years at Somonauk Dental and she is the face everyone sees first at Somonauk Dental.
She is lifelong resident of Somonauk. She and her husband have 6 children and 7 grandchildren with the 8th to arrive soon.
Mary C. Johnson
Dental Assistant
Caitlin has been in the dental field for 8 years. She has been an assistant for most of that time, but she also enjoys scheduling patients and helping at the front desk.
Outside of work, she loves playing outside with her 5-year-old son Logan. She also enjoys going on long hikes.
